Thankful for anyone still following this blog, I have been so inconsistent over the past 12-15 months. I have a great, fantastic reason – my newish seven month old baby – Niccolo’ and MW studies but still I had wished to be doing a better job. Sometimes I feel like the person in this painting with all I try to do and can’t but that said, I’m still a lucky woman, working in a field I love, having made my passion into my career so no laments just a thank you to those who still read Avvinare.com.

On another note, horror in Milanese courthouse today with a gunman shooting three people. As I consider Milan my second city, I am distressed at the news and hope the EXPO will bring great things for all.  It is just a mere two weeks away from the start, more of less – May 1.
