I am super excited about giving a webinar tomorrow for the Wine Scholar Guild on Basilicata and Molise, two little discussed regions which should be getting more attention thanks to their great wines and indigenous varieties which are all the rage. I look forward to discussing the history of the area, the geography, climate, soils, denominations and grape varieties. I hope you can join me or listen to the webinar at a later date. As many who read this blog know, Basilicata holds a special place in my heart.

The photo above is of the Biferno river in Molise. I have been to all 20 of Italy’s regions but have only spent a short time in Molise. Many years ago I did a project that had to do with Molisana, the pasta and learned a lot about this beautiful region.  I hope to visit again one day/
