I was lucky enough to attend the Women In Wine Leadership Symposium hosted by The Winebow Group and Teuwen Communications this week. This was the seventh edition of this lovely event and my third time attending. I was very pleased to be included these past three years. We had the good fortune to have exciting keynote speakers and an amazing guided tasting as well as a spectacular walk-around offering.  The wines were from the Winebow portfolio and were remarkable. What I love about days like Monday is taking stock and thinking about topics that are bigger than my everyday focus on my clients, my writing and study and Vigneto’s bottom line. Today we discussed strategies to be more open and take more risk, to find mentors and how to guide our careers and help other women in the industry.  Being in the room with a group of women in the wine industry always gives me a kick and makes me happy. I am glad to see the tent is growing and that there are a growing number of divergent voices from all parts of the industry. I hope the discussions will continue.
