Today will always be a somber day in the United States and as a New Yorker I always remember. The one 9/11 memorial that I find consolatory is this Tribute in Light. This is a post I wrote five years ago about 9/11. Today, I am always downtown, sailing on the Hudson every weekend that I can and every time I pass Ground Zero, I am aware of how precious life is for the living and to honor those that died on that day.
