Next month the #ItalianFWT crew is traveling to Lombardy and visiting the Oltrepo’ Pavese region. Oltrepo’ is an amazing region with sparkling, still, sweet wines in white, rosé, and red versions. It also has loads of history, tradition, and great cuisine. Moreover, thanks to the Consorzio Oltrepo’ Pavese, a good number of us received wine samples. As the East Coast Brand Ambassador for the region, it’s great to introduce friends and colleagues to this area and their great wines which have been a little under the radar but are getting more interest.

Below is a map of the provinces of Lombardy. As you can see, Oltrepo’ is near Pavia and the area is in the form of a grape bunch.
