Before the pandemic hit, I did a series of tasting at Total Wine stores in Maryland and Delaware. Then for 18 months, I focused on online tastings. Over the course of the last month, I have done in person tastings in restaurants in NJ, wine shops in Westchester and now at Eataly Flatiron. I taught a wine class together with their Chef on wines from Oltrepo Pavese where I am the brand ambassador. We had 20 guests and it was truly fun to be back in the swing of things with people interested to learn and talking to one another.

The more I participate in regular life, the more I realize how much I have missed certain things. The pandemic is not over but this weekend felt like one more step towards nornalcy.
