I have been absent from this blog for the past 10 days following the loss of a very important person to me – my Uncle last Saturday, December 22. Everything has seemed surreal and grey but I am aware that death is part of life and we must celebrate the time we have so, I have decided to make some resolutions about living everyday to its fullest. That includes drinking copious amounts of sparkling wine, telling the people I care about how much I love them as often as possible, and laughter and joy. My uncle was a huge deadhead. He loved their music and lived in San Francesco in the 1970s and saw Jerry Garcia play all the time. 2019 will be filled with their songs in his honor. May the start  of the new year be better than the end of 2018.
