Rather than writing about wine today, I am going to post an article I wrote about a seminar I took during the Society of Wine Educators conference in 2013. The conference, as always, was inspiring. Going to Seaworld was also interesting although I was very aware of the controversy about Orca treatment. We also went to one of the Disney properties. I remember thinking that it seemed like play land down there. Today as we learn more about the massacre in that city, I can’t help but think what America might look like with gun control. Serious gun control where people can’t get their hands on automatic weapons and wipe out 50 lives in a flash and affect the lives of so many more. I am saddened and sickened by our lack of action on this issue.
