Thinking about Texas and the lives lost and the incredible devastation there. I have done some wine events in Texas though the years and know many Texans from the industry there. I have not yet had the pleasure of visiting Texas wineries yet but its always on my bucket list. I just read a blog post that summed up much of my thinking too about using a wine blog to talk about other topics of dire importance. Here’s an important post from the Wine Fairy who I do not know but whose post appealed to me.

As a Mom with a child in Summer Camp, albeit not yet sleep away, those little girls and their counselors are top of mind. I hate writing thoughts and prayers because what I want is action, money, and effort to make sure something like this does not happen to any other families. Here’s a list of places to donate.
