I was just reading through wine blogs and came upon an entry by Alfonso Cevola on his blog On The Wine Trail In Italy that was so beautiful and moving that I thought I wanted to mention it on my blog.
Summer is supposed to be a time of lightheartedness and light wines, today though, I feel like drinking a big heavy red wine. I’m thinking about opening a wine from Angela Velenosi, Roggio del Filare. I have met and interviewed Angela at her winery in Ascoli Piceno in Le Marche. I will post the interview this week because today, I just wanted to toast Mr. Cevola, whose blog and photos are always an inspiration.
